CLINICAL TRIALS FOR Pediatric & Adolescent ADHD

Is your child or teen taking a stimulant medication that isn’t working well enough?  Does your child continue to suffer with hyperactivity, impulsive behavior, or attention problems, even while taking a stimulant?

OR

Is your child or teen experiencing side effects from stimulants (such as decreased appetite, sleep problems, or headaches) which prevents them from being able to take the dose they need to treat their ADHD?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At Northwest Clinical Research Center, we are conducting a clinical trial involving a non-stimulant medication for the treatment of ADHD in children and teenagers who are having an inadequate response to their current stimulant medication.

This non-stimulant medication has already been approved by the FDA for the treatment of ADHD in children and adolescents (ages 6-17).  It is now being tested for its potential to treat ADHD when it is combined with a stimulant medication.

If you child or teenager qualifies for this research trial, he/she will receive financial compensation for their time, medical evaluations, and the investigative study medication at no cost.

Study medication

NWCRC is investigating a non-stimulant medication that can be taken in addition to any medications patients are currently taking. Patients will take the medication once daily, in the AM or PM.

Prerequisites

Your child could qualify for this study if:

  • They are between the ages of 6-17.
  • They continue to experience symptoms of ADHD despite taking an approved stimulant medication.

No Cost Study

There is no cost to participate in the study, and the study participant will receive the following if they are eligible:

  • Medical evaluation.
  • Investigational Medication.
  • Study Related Medical Care.
  • Modest compensation if eligible for the study.
