Prerequisites

Potential participants must be:
Ages 18 and up
Experiencing daily pain from diabetic peripheral neuropathy
Be in relatively good health

Duration

4-16 months

There is no cost to participate in this clinical study. The participant, if they qualify, will receive:

Medical Evaluation
Investigational medication
Study related medical care including physical exam and laboratory tests
Travel assistance available
In addition, study related compensation may be available

Study Evaluation Process

Screening: Determine eligibility and safety through medical examinations, questionnaires, and interviews.

Informed Consent: Received detailed information about the trial, including risks and benefits.

Treatment: Receive investigational medication and placebo, and follow the trail protocol regarding current treatments and medications.

Monitoring: Close monitoring of conditions and side effects through check-ups, laboratory tests, EKG’s and assessments.
